The work expresses the metaphor of “what it brings” (in the sense “bearing”). Moreover it is a stem that converges in a single point, in the same way as an hourglass. Convergence at the point is obtained through a twist. The aim is to lead the viewer to a significant fulcrum. In fact, the column is a n architectural element of ancient origins that has transformed over time, until arriving – through this work – to the contemporary context of the road and graffiti. Thus, the main pillar conveys the meaning of contamination and transformation; classical architectural elements are revisited by a new iconography linked to underground culture and the poetics of the street.
