Alessandro Ferri aka DADO, was born in 1975 in Bologna (IT), where he lives and works. Considered one of the precursors of writing in Italy, his work has always been characterized by the multifaceted versatility that pushes him to experiment with lettering and the poetics of the street through different artistic techniques. Alessandro conceives writing as a rigorous discipline to be inserted within the broader scope of Contemporary Art. Alessandro’s style tends towards rational analysis of the medium, revealing a natural connection between it and the introspection of the graphic sign.
