With this installation, the artist continues his reflection on communication and signs that are the basis of language. The x has a generic symbolic value because it can be variously interpreted, assuming very different meanings. It can represent a numerical value equivalent to 10, a multiplication, an unknown, a danger, a negation, an end, an error; etc…

Inside the wood, Letter X is charged with meaning through the way the viewer interprets it. However, through this exaltation of the primordial symbol, the language used daily is transcended and the artist moves on completely intuitive communication.

The sculpture/installation was built for the permanent exhibition Arcipelago Fossile in Cortina d’ Ampezzo where is still located and visible.
